State War Veterans Homes (Skilled Nursing Care)
Georgia operates two skilled nursing care homes for eligible war veterans, in Milledgeville (248 beds) and Augusta (130 beds), providing long-term skilled nursing and specialty care.
Eligibility: War veteran domiciled in Georgia who has resided in the state for at least two consecutive years, or five of the last 15 years, immediately preceding the admission application.
